They are always friendly and have fresh from the garden vegetables. I love their elderberry syrup. I buy it when I have a cold or when I’m feeling congested. Plus it tastes good!

Buyer Beware: Not only are the prices higher than most places in the area they use a scale that weighs items heavier than they are. Today was my first time there. I was excited to see they had Georgia Wild shrimp, so I got a 2lb bag. When I got home, the bag looked light, so I weighed it on my food scale and postal scale, and both showed 1.15 lbs. Thinking that I was given a 1lb bag by mistake, I went back to the store to let them know. The lady told me that my scale was faulty and needed to be recalibrated. I informed her I weighed it on TWO different scales. Then showed her a photo of the shrimp on my scale at 1.15lbs . She then put them back on her scale and showed me 1.96 lbs (which isn’t 2). The gentleman said to give me a few more to get it to 2 lbs. She looked me in the eye and said, “Honey, a lb of shrimp is 21 shrimp. I guarantee it’s 40, and you have 2 lbs. Recalibrate your scales.” Some guy in the background yelled out, “Use tare.” They never tried to test or “recalibrate” their scale. Unfortunately life has taught me that arguing with scammers is moot and I already wasted too much time with these people so I just left feeling angry and cheated. However, on the way home I figured I must have been overcharged on the other produce if that’s the scale they used. When I got home, I weighed all the produce and saw that nothing was equal to weight it said on my receipt. As for my scales and weighing know-how, I run an online business and use the postage scale daily. My numbers always match the numbers at UPS and USPS so I know my scales are right. However I am a science based professional so to test I weighed a 1lb bag lentils from my pantry and jar honey I bought from them both items were correct. I’ve attached photos of all of this. This experience was so disappointing and I will never return.

I’ve been buying here for over eight years. My go-to for Silver Queen corn among other items including Christmas trees. This year they went over and above expected standards to secure our tree and make it safe and ready. If you’re looking for a place that always exceeds expectations this is it.

I see alot of reviews talking about best and worst experiences. I've been here many times I've advertised for them for free at my families hotel and a restaurant but dont anymore. I dont even go anymore. But its nice to say you've gone is all. Some of the people are very rude and hasnt happened to me directly but I've seen it happen to other more than enough times in person to make me not return. Dekalb international farmers market is the only one you ever really want to go to.
