I'm so glad I found Sophisticated African Braiding! Kemmi and Georgina clearly take pride in their work. My hair turned out exactly like the photo I provided, the vibes were good, they braided very fast, and it didn't hurt at all. I've gotten several compliments on my hair already! 😊

After using the same loctician for my interlocking for over 15 years, I found myself needing to find someone new — and I was honestly a little apprehensive. Trusting someone new with your locs is not easy! From the moment I sat in Kemi’s chair, I felt comfortable and confident in her expertise. She was professional, gentle, and very knowledgeable about loc care. She took her time and made sure everything was done with precision. My hair looks AMAZING! Honestly, I had a bad experience. I didn't get what I asked for. She made the braids big despite my repeated emphasis on not wanting big braids and then she blamed it on my hair type (I've made small braids and cornrows many times without any issues). She also couldn't curl my hair the way I wanted and didn't tell me she couldn't do and proceeded to do it her way. I think her skill is also lacking because my hair is coming out of the fat braids on day two. Also the braiding hair she uses feels like plastic. I honestly don't think my hair is worth the price she charged.
