Katie's Sports Bar & Grill

This time my husband and I had a not so favorable experience at Katie’s today. We waited 45 minutes in a restaurant that was not packed for mild wings and fries. When the food finally arrived the wings were cold and barely sauced but the fries were hot. What we did notice was that either a worker or owner was sitting in front of us at the larger table with several people and they were going to the kitchen or bar to get their food for the people at their table while our server(the red haired young lady) spent her time servicing them rather than making sure her tables were taken care of. It took forever for our food to come out yet she was trying to clean table up with us clearly still having food on our plates. We will not be patronizing Katie’s again.

I had such a great experience at Katie’s Sports Bar & Grill in Grayson! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for hanging out with friends or watching a game. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive the entire time. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor—definitely better than your average sports bar menu. I’ll absolutely be back soon. Highly recommend!

Overall the food is pretty good, however what makes this place the best is the Bartender Kaitlin. She is very attentive, engaging, and energetic! I now go in there almost every Wednesday evening just because she is working. I have not been to very many establishments where the bartender makes you feel immediately welcomed and appreciated. If you loose Kaitlin you will lose quite a lot of respect and business.

The just wasn’t good. Very small portions. $8 for this okra. We left and barely touched our food. I hate to say it but it was a disappointment.

We had a fried chicken sandwich, Cuban Frita Burger, a cup of chili, and chicken nachos. All were very good. We asked and apparently the cook is named Shaquille. Shaquille knows what he’s doing. 🙂 And out server Brooke did a great job as well. Try it! You’ll like it!
