I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. It is definitely a hidden gem , and I definitely would go back for the entire experience all over again. The customer service was excellent , starting with the hostess at the door to the server at the table.I highy reccomend this resturant if you're in the area do yourself a HUGE favor and stop by .You wont regret it.The FOOD was AMAZING.Everything was soooooo good. I was trying to out whose grandmothef that had in the kitchen doing all of the cooking.Whew... I was full and happy. You can bring your family , children or your friends. It's a great environment for everyone. Tell them Sonya seny you.
This is an old school mom and pop country buffet. Literally, it's like stepping into a 90s version of Shoneys. Its staples are southern classic cooking and it's decent. Im Comparing it to a similar resteraunt in Snellville called MJs , the food items here are more homemade and down to earth but there doesn't seem to be as many options on there bar, but the quality to me is better because you can tell it's more homemade. The servers are amazing. But the atmosphere isn't something you should expect to be lively.
Ladies & gentlemen, boys & girls of all ages! If there was ever a buffet to wear your "stretchy pants" to, this is the one. Not the place to count your calories. From the fried green tomatoes, turnip greens, baked macaroni & cheese, dressing, mashed potatoes, & pot roast, to the meatloaf, fried chicken, chicken & dumplings, & made from scratch buttery biscuits there is nothing here that is not absolutely delicious. If you were raised in the south or want to experience what it was like to have Sunday dinner in the south, this is the place to do just that! It does stay fairly busy so bring your patience, understanding, southern hospitality, & your best manners. P.S. There is also a wonderful desert bar & some sort of lemon creme pie that I could eat every day of my life.
Everything was nice, the atmosphere, the customer service and the food was amazing!! Only thing I would suggest them to do is to start serving some good fried fatback on the buffet.
We truly enjoyed the homestyle cooking. There need to be an locations in our home town Sylvester. GA. When we are in the area we will most definitely visit again.
