Hella Hair has given my hair and life a new life! I came into this salon as a new customer due to the fact they work with all hair types and the salon is close to my home. Im so happy I came! I had not had my hair professionally treated over 10 years or cut in 2 years, needless to say I was in need. After having my baby my husband said I needed to give myself a new look (( aka- pls change your black hair to something more vibrant to match your personality)) I was concerned bc I have been just coloring my grays using box dye for years and when I was young I had a bad experience with professional lightening and straightening. Therefore, I didnt want to have a repeat of that so I stayed minimal. I then realized I wasnt doing anything at all. We only live once, right? So I went into Hella Hair and Beauty Bar and came out a new woman. All thanks to the staff and my wonderful & knowlegdeable stylist Vidia. Needless to say, this is my new salon from now on. Vidia took her time and color correted my hair bc I mentioned I had box dye for years. She did a great job and I dont think many other stylist would have known what to do with what I came in with... I sure did leave with something amazing.. New woman for 2019!! Thanx Hella Hair!!

This saline does a good job however they try to over price you. I went there last year on my birthday and I called to ask how much a wash, set and trim would be and the guy on the phone told me $40. I’m like wow that’s a good price. I get there and they say it’s $50 and he told me the wrong price. Then after they finish my hair they said it’s now $60 because my hair is longer. This all happened the day on my birthday I was like you know what whatever. I am going out of town next week and decided to get my hair done. I called to check the price twice and they told me $50 over the phone but I already knew they were going to charge me $60 because they don’t tell you that they charge you for length until after they finish your hair. This time they tried to charge me $70. To wash, blow dry, straighten and trim my hair. My hair isn’t extremely long probably to the middle of my back. I told the lady that I paid $60 the last time I came and she told me that I was mistaken but they even have a flyer of the prices they were just trying to charge me extra because I am young and they don’t think I know any better. This place tries to take advantage of you and tries to charge you extra if you don’t have shoulder length hair I will not be returning it is not worth the money.

The experience was great and my hair looked nice. Unfortunately when I washed my hair it was still super straight and I lost chunks of hair. My curl pattern has not returned to it's original state and it's been two months. To this day I still have patches of straight hair. I would not recommend this place to people with natural hair, but if you have a perm go for it.

I came into the salon for the first time and Divina did my hair. I can honestly say that she did an amazing job as she followed all my request. I am very happy and will definitely come back to have my hair done again.
